The Alabama Real Estate Commission requirements for getting sales license are listed below in the order they are to be completed:

  • Within six months from the date a temporary sales license has been issued, an agent needs to successfully complete a 30-hour Post License course. This is typically a fun course because it is helping you establish your new business. It will provide you with tools to help jump-start a new real estate business.

  • Upon completing all the modules in the course you must successfully pass a course final proctored exam that is given by a online third-party. The exam process is strictly between the student and the testing company. This exam consists of approximately 50 multiple choice questions and requires a passing score of 80%.

  • Upon passing the proctored exam, and after we have collected all required documents from the student, we will issue credit for you with the Alabama Real Estate Commission. There are no more state exams.

  • The next and final step is to apply to the real estate Commission for an original permanent license by completing the application process.
